About Us
Michael Nolan introduces Miracle, on Main Street in Sag Harbor, offering a refined and modern take on a classic Parisian-style bistro. As a third generation Sag Harbor resident, and co-founder of the acclaimed Fresno Restaurant in East Hampton, New York, and the original Miracle Grill in New York City (along with celebrity chef Bobby Flay), Michael showcases his evolution as a restauranteur in grand style, continuing his commitment to serving East End residents and visitors alike.
Jesus Gonzales, the respected culinary talent behind Fresno Restaurant, crafted the menu with care and consideration. It features a curated selection of Mediterranean classics, but with a brighter, more flavorful, more expressive style, drawing from the culinary heritage of Gonzales’ hometown of Chiapas, Mexico, where charring and slow-roasting is the norm, and where bright colors and fresh (local) ingredients predominate.
Helen Gifford, of HelenBilt, led the Miracle design team. Her interiors emphasize tradition and authenticity, but with artful, highly crafted fixtures, textures and lighting. Gifford leans into intimate, layered spaces that prioritize comfort and elegance at the same time, exemplified by her original hand-painted wallpaper, custom lucite shelving, a hand-welded ‘lean-to’ side bar, classic wooden bistro chairs and barstools, tufted leather banquettes, and her distinctive lighting fixtures, a signature feature of her design aesthetic (including her recent and beautiful renovation of Fresno, Miracle’s sister restaurant in East Hampton).
